Organization Management: Structure, Admin, and Policies

Organization Management in InnoSynth-Forjinn enables comprehensive control of access, structure, policy, and data for businesses, multi-team companies, and large-scale deployments. It provides a top-level entity above workspaces and facilitates unified administration, governance, and analytics.

What is an Organization in Forjinn?

  • An Organization is a root-level entity grouping together users, workspaces, flows, and billing under one policy and administrative umbrella.
  • Multiple orgs can be hosted on one instance (multi-tenant SaaS or partner/white-label deployments).
  • Each org has its own admin(s), user set, settings, billing, analytics, and audit logs.

Key Organization Management Features

1. Org Creation/Setup

  • Initial root/admin user creates the first organization during onboarding or via Admin → Organizations.
  • Assign legal name, contact, optional business unit tags.
  • Set organization-wide policies, e.g., password/SSO, session retention, default roles for new users.

2. User & Role Management

  • Add/remove users (admins, developers, viewers) at the org level.
  • Assign roles globally (across all workspaces) or in just specific workspaces within the org.
  • Suspend/enable users, reset MFA/SSO credentials org-wide.

3. Workspace/Project Control

  • Create multiple workspaces under an organization.
  • Move/copy users and data across workspaces under the same org.
  • Assign workspace owners separate from org wide admins as needed.

4. billing and Contracts

  • Set a unified billing plan, contract references, purchase orders per-organization.
  • Manage seat/license allocation centrally.
  • Organization admins can view/approve invoices, usage, and overages.

Example: Multi-Division Enterprise Setup

  • GlobalOrg, Inc.
    • Org Admin: alice@globalorg.com
    • Workspaces: "US R&D", "EU Sales", "Support", "APAC Engineering"
    • Each workspace has sub-admins, but all are managed and visible to Alice in the Org panel.
    • Single SSO policy, central billing.
  • Subsidiary (Org):

Org-wide Security & Policies

  • All global security settings (SSO, password, audit) are enforced at the org level.
  • Usage quotas, rate limits, and platform analytics roll up to org and admin dashboards.

Troubleshooting & Common Tasks

  • Adding a new business unit: Create workspace; assign under current org.
  • Lost admin access: Platform root can reassign org admin in emergencies.
  • Moving user to a new org: Remove from old; invite/add to new. User may have different permissions based on org-level role mapping.

Organization Management gives your team central authority, visibility, and compliance for complex environments. For best security, always use SSO, two admin accounts, and regular audit reviews.
